Important safety information (for all Emollients)
The CSM has warned that these preparations make skin and surfaces slippery, therefore particular care is needed when bathing.
Emollients with antibacterial are to wash and/or use as a leave-on emollient during skin infection only (long-term on dermatology recommendation only).
In hospital, Dermol 500 lotion is for staff as recommended by Occupational Health only.
