Aromatic Inhalations

Inhalations containing volatile substances such eucalyptus oil are traditionally used and encourage deliberate inspiration of warm moist air which is often comforting. Boiling water should not be used due to the risk of scalding.

Inhalations are also useful for the relief of nasal congestion in acute rhinitis and sinusitis.
