Important safety information
Ketamine should only be administered by, or under the direct supervision of, personnel experienced in it use, with adequate training in anaesthesia and airway management, and when resuscitation equipment is available.
Ketamine is associated with a high incidence of hallucinations and other transient psychotic sequelae in adults, though these are much less significant in children. It is contraindicated in patients with hypertension.
